On July 3rd 2020, Consul General Kiminori Iwama and Vice-Consul Shota Urano were officially received by the Rector of RWTH Aachen University, Prof. Dr. mult. Ulrich Rüdiger. This meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. Jun Okuda, long-standing representative of Japanese Affairs and communication.

Afterwards, Mr. Iwama and Mr. Urano met with commitee members of our Society to discuss possible joint activities. We are grateful for all the support the Japanese Consulate in Düsseldorf has provided throughout the years.

Among upcoming events, we look forward to a forum next year informing representatives of Japanese companies in North Rhine-Westfalia about the RWTH Campus Project.
